Chicago Tribute Article on High Tech Toilets

Todays Chicago Tribute featured an interesting article on high tech toilets and bidets.  According to the article, large toilet manufacturers are becoming more aggressive in marketing bidets in the United States.  Apparently, there is quite a taboo to overcome with the bidet.  “Ninety-nine percent of Americans did not know what a bidet was, and I had a hard time marketing my product back then, because toilets and anything to do with anything ‘down there’ was considered taboo”

  5. I was in Tokyo a few days ago. I stayed in Mandarine Oriental Hotel. It had a very interesting toilet. The cover was heated, it flashed automatically when you left, you could wash youself with a button etc. Could I have information on this product or better could you send a prospectus? My address is:
